Where many London counterparts plunge into dark poetry and venomous spoken vocals, Nerves are spearheaded by a beautiful, beckoning but pitch-black singing voice. Indeed, a band of contrasts: ruthless, dark and spectral, but with it simmers a vulnerable, atmospheric currents that sound almost spiritual.
